I didn't do this detox to lose weight but for the 1st time in my adult life, as an endurance runner who's weight never changed, I dropped 3 kgs and never felt better. 4 months later the weight has stayed off and I feel like a new person!
Amanda supported my daughters and I throughout the entire process and we felt loved, believed in and encouraged. Her products are amazing, packed with nutrition and leave you feeling fabulous. The 9 days had challenging moments but really shifted things mentally and physically and emotionally for us all. I ordered this detox a while ago and realised that my life was too hectic to do it straight away. This allowed me to listen to the podcast, read the emails and notes until it was locked into my mind. I eventually had 9 days mostly to myself and jumped in. What a great experience and domething I will recommend wholeheartedly. It was as kind and gentle as what Amanda explained it to be. From the wildfire vinegar to the last drop of tincture at night and all in between, it was something to look forward to. The cold part of the hot and cold shower regime was something I was apprehensive of as I have never done it fully and I did struggle with it, but managed to do it (pat on the back). Days 3 and 5 were tough for me, but I allowed myself to just be still. At the end of day 6, after doing all the jobs I needed to do and heading in for my din er, I realosed that I was not as exhausred as what I had veen just a day before still and for most of this year something lifted. It is a week later and I am still full of energy. I could not do the High Intensity exercises, but did my pilates and Callanetics excercises and lost 1.6kg. Weight loss was a hope not a given but the detox was what I was hoping for and boy, did that happen It has motivated
me to fast for the rest of this month.I will recoomend that you jump in and do it. Thank you Amanda. It is my plan to do it at least once a year if not 2x per year.
Goodness - where do I start! The main purpose of deciding to do Amanda's 9DD was to re-set and cleanse my system as I had so much inflammation and toxicity, and my gut was in poor health. I had been deceiving myself for some time that I was in good health and eating well, but I felt completely stuck and didn't know how to get out of the bad habits and poor food choices. Following Amanda's protocol helped me enormously to get back into a flow of a healthy, beautiful morning routine, daily exercising, and detox and remove toxins in such a gentle way that apart from being hungry, I didn't have any of the awful detox symptoms I've experienced in the past. This was also a spiritual fast for me to nourish and honour the temple God has blessed me with, and to remove anything that was hindering my relationship with Him. Food had become an idol for me and our God is a jealous God! He loves us so much and He wants us to put Him first in everything we do because He created us! I'm only 5"2 with a small build, but hold all my weight in my tummy which had me feeling shameful and depressed, and I was choosing chocolate and potato chips to numb those feelings. I lost 1.5kilos in total but I didn't have a lot to lose. I've never slept better in my life than I have these past 9 days, all the inflammation in my stomach has gone, my skin has cleared up and I'm motivated to exercise again remembering how good it makes me feel. Today is day 10, and instead of waking up running to the fridge/pantry to eat something, I've had my wildfire tonic, holy coffee, made up my greens, exercised, took the dog for the walk, and then prepared my first meal! This isn't just a detox, it's a new way of life - a life of health and vitality, and freedom from shame, depression and excuses! I want to honour and thank Amanda for the commitment she made to document her own 9DD journey so that we have had the opportunity to follow along with her. I can honestly say that I don't think I would have made the 9 days without her daily encouragement, her raw and real emotions, and the exercise videos. I would like to add that the next time I embark on this journey, I would not do it again in the middle of a Victorian winter!! Sweating is an important part of the detox and there was definitely not a lot of that happening!! I was freezing cold throughout but I did read that changes in body temperatures are a normal symptom when detoxing. You will not regret your decision to do this for yourself. I'm off to purchase more products to ensure I never run out!!

I ordered the detox weeks in advance as I thought I had a quiet time coming. That quiet time never came, so I decided to just start. Although I can absolutely see the benefits of doing this when you can completely focus, I have found the benefits of the detox under stress was extremely helpful. The protocol provided structure, moments to look forward to, and also allowed for easy to overlook self care. I did book a massage halfway, and when I booked my body was aching all over, but on the day of the massage and asked for specific areas of pain, I realised the pain wasnt there anymore. The detox helped gave me incredible brain clarity, and made my thinking/writing process so much more creative. I am absolutely going to this again sometime, and then will really take out nine days of complete indulgence. And knowing Amanda is always there for support is something so valuable. I can’t recommend this program highly enough.
